Unique Santa-Themed Events Coming to Brampton Soon

With Christmas just a few weeks away, now is the perfect time to get into the holiday spirit and indulge in festive activities—and fortunately for you, downtown Brampton has a lot of activities for you and your family!

The Downtown Brampton BIA has shaken up the city's already glittery downtown with its Sparkle, Shop & Dine initiative and is currently treating residents to romantic horse and carriage rides. To make the holidays even more special, it's also hosting a series of Santa-focused events that will appeal to the whole family.

According to the BIA, there are two upcoming Santa events that aren't to be missed. On Saturday, December 16, residents can follow Santa throughout the downtown core and find him in different businesses to chat and snap a photo with him. He'll be planning different visits to the following businesses: Stephan's Furs, Restyle Consignment, Baci Gifts, T by Daniel, Starbucks, and Beaux-Arts Brampton!

"The BIA Christmas planning committee came up with the idea to have Santa host a fun, interactive breakfast while partnering with a local business. On December 16, Santa without a doubt will be a huge hit as he visits one of a kind shops," says Andrea Magana, Marketing and Events Specialist with the BIA.

He'll also be hosting a Breakfast with Santa on Dec. 23 at Sunset Grill. Tickets for that event can be purchased here.

The breakfast is open to all, but tickets ($3.50) must be bought in advance. On the day of, participants must pay for their meals separately and prices will depend on what menu options are selected via Eventbrite.

Ticket sales will be donated to a local charity in the downtown core.

Because this is the first time the BIA is hosting so many Santa-focused events, it's important to grab tickets sooner rather than later. One of the breakfast sessions is a few tickets away from being sold out.

"This is the first year the BIA has decided to run Santa events to this extent," says Magana. "The event response has been extremely positive with our first breakfast selling out. Anywhere Santa visits in downtown Brampton is always a huge hit so we anticipate lots of people for these pop-up family events!"
