UPDATE: Brampton Man Facing Two Counts of Second Degree Murder

Police have disclosed more information regarding the overnight stabbing that took place at a Brampton residence.

Police have disclosed more information regarding the overnight stabbing that took place at a Brampton residence.

Officers got a call Friday night (January 12) at 10:45 p.m. for a stabbing incident in the area of Starhill Crescent and Arabia Gate.

Upon arriving at the scene, police found two people dead with obvious signs of trauma. The victims are a 32 year old woman and the woman’s mother, 60 years old.

Police also found a young child in the residence who was not injured. The child is currently in the care of the Children’s Aid Society.

Officers have arrested the younger victim’s husband, a 29 year old man. He has been charged with two counts of second degree murder.
