A fatality has been reported in Brampton this evening.
Police say they received a call at 8:53 p.m. for a residential fire in the area of Ray Lawson Boulevard and Stalbridge Avenue.

One victim, an adult male, was taken to local hospital with serious injuries.

At 10:49 p.m., police reported that the victim succumbed to his injuries and has been pronounced dead.
The blaze is under control, according to Brampton Fire & Emergency Services.
Residents should avoid the area.
