A driver has crashed their vehicle into a house in Brampton, reports police.

According to Peel Police, the vehicled collided with the house at around 9:30 p.m.

The incident occurred in the area of Rutherford Rd and Thorson Gate.

Police have yet to report more information.

UPDATE

An adult male driver is in custody for impaired driving and has been transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The damage was sustained to a fence and minor contact with a house. Occupants within the residence were not injured.
