Victims and Suspect Identified in Brampton Double Homicide

Police have identified all parties involved in the stabbing that killed two people Friday night.
The victims are Baljit Thandi (32 years old) and Thandi’s mother, Avtar Kaur (60 years old). Both women sustained fatal stab wounds and were found dead at the scene.
Police arrested Thandi’s husband, 29 year old Dalwinder Singh. He is charged with two counts of second degree murder.
This incident is Peel Region’s first and second homicide of the year.
