VIDEO: Suspects Sought After Crashing Truck into Store for Armed Robbery in Brampton


Police are investigating and searching for multiple suspects following two incidents that happened in Brampton on Wednesday, May 8.

At approximately 11:30 a.m., police say a male suspect in a grey Dodge Caravan attended a business at 65 Braydon Boulevard.

The male reportedly fired several rounds from a gun into the ceiling, then fired the gun again while outside the store. 

He is described as a white male with facial hair wearing a hooded sweatshirt, grey pants, gloves, and a scarf across his face.

Shortly after the first incident, several suspects drove a stolen tow truck through the front doors of a jewelry store in the area of Torbram Road and North Park Drive.

The suspects, who were armed, exited a stolen white Dodge Durango, entered the store and left with a quantity of jewelry,” police say.

Police have since recovered the stolen tow truck and Dodge Durango.

The five jewelry store suspects are described as following:

  • First suspect: Light complexion, grey and red Adidas jacket, grey and red Adidas pants, black gloves, black bandana, black gym bag and was carrying a black handgun
  • Second suspect: Unknown race, black hoodie with “Sixers” on front, black pants, grey gloves, black material over his face, black gym bag
  • Third suspect: Unknown race, all black clothing, light coloured gloves, black shoes, black material covering face, black Adidas gym bag
  • Fourth suspect: Light complexion, all black clothing light coloured gloves, black shoes, black material covering face, carrying a black bag with white piping over his shoulder
  • Fifth suspect: White, 5’7”

Police believe the two incidents are connected.
