It’s no secret that a Brampton Library card is a major key in our city!

It’s no secret that a Brampton Library card is a major key in our city!

A Brampton Library card can get you free access to a ton of goodies, including free eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines and eNewspapers, and even lynda.com, a goldmine for instructional videos by experts.

You can even get access to 3D printers using your incredible library card! And, you can download music for free.

Just one more cool thing you can do with the superpower that is having a library card is…

…take out a GoPro!

A GoPro is basically an incredibly popular, versatile, HD camera, that’s great for capturing epic footage of all of your adventures – even if they’re underwater.

It’s true that GoPros can be a few hundred dollars, and not everyone can afford them.

For all of you adventurers or anyone who just wants to try a cool piece of technology without the major price tag, this action camera is indeed available through the Brampton Library system.

That’s right, your Brampton Library card gets you access to an entire GoPro kit.

The kit contains a GoPro Hero session camera, a mounting frame, buckle and screw, a micro-USB cable, and even an Amazonbasics carrying case.

It’s important to note that your GoPro kit loan can’t be renewed and extended loans on kits aren’t permitted.

These cameras are checked out pretty frequently, so you might want to keep your eye on the system to see when you can get your hands on one.

The Brampton Library system online shows you when cameras are due back at their library branch.

Chinguacousy, Cyril Clark, Four Corners, South Fletchers, Gore Meadows, and Springdale branches all have a few kits ready for borrowing.

How can you find out if there’s a kit available?

You can access the Brampton Library system here, click on “Library of Things”, and finally, click on GoPro Cameras.

All you need is a Brampton Library card to check one out.

Happy snapping, Brampton!
